(Orlando, FL) – The Financial Times named Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, LLC a financial planning and wealth management firm in Orlando to its list of the Top 300 independent Registered Investment Advisors in America.
Said FT, “We present the FT 300 as an elite group.”
The publication used a “quantifiable and objective methodology that shunned any subjective input from firms… to ensure a list of established companies with deep, institutional expertise.” Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
After preliminary screenings of the Securities and Exchange Commission database, over 1,500 firms were invited to complete a lengthy application. The Financial Times (FT) then added its own research into their practices including data from regulatory filings to find those with “desirable traits for investors.” Firms were then graded based on six broad factors including assets under management, asset growth, the company’s age, industry certifications of key employees, SEC compliance record, and online accessibility.
FT capped the number of companies from any one state roughly based on the distribution of millionaires across the U.S. 16 Florida firms made the list.
“We are both humbled and proud that our team would be recognized for our investment practices by such a credible publication,” said Ron Tamayo, CFP®, Principal and Certified Financial Planner. He added, “As personal finances get ever more complex, our ability to simplify and coordinate a clients’ affairs becomes increasingly valuable.”
Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo, LLC has been listed among top firms several times by Wealth Manager, Financial Advisor, Advisor IQ, and Orlando Business Journal.
