Financial Advisor in Orlando, Florida

Moisand Fitzgerald Tamayo LLC is currently seeking an experienced financial advisor who is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in personal financial planning.

Responsibilities:

    • Cater to the specialized needs of an exclusive niche of independent contractors, utilizing a tailored process.
    • Conduct direct consultations with clients to collect essential information for tax planning and cash flow management.
    • Support clients and collaborate with third-party bookkeepers to fulfill the annual obligations of S Corporation owners.
    • Oversee the communication and execution of quarterly and annual financial and tax planning processes.
    • Offer expert advice in areas such as taxation, cash flow management, insurance, retirement, and estate planning.
    • Sustain client relationships across varying market conditions.
    • Develop new client relationships via phone and Zoom.
    • Foster connections with related professionals in the field.

Eligibility Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance)
    • CFP® professional
    • Five years of experience in financial planning

Cash Compensation (including Base Salary, Team Award, and Individual Performance Award):

    • $100,000 to 150,000

We have an opportunity in our office located in Orlando, Florida. We are a fully independent, fee-only RIA serving about 800 client families and managing roughly $1.1 billion.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide families and business owners with individualized advice on financial planning, tax planning, cash flow analysis, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance needs analysis, and charitable gifting strategies.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients and begin to build new prospective client relationships from referrals and networking. (Candidates are welcome to bring clients with them but bringing clients is not a requirement for this position.)
