Charlie Fitzgerald III, CFP® shared his thoughts with the Orlando Sentinel on recent troubles for some non-traded real estate investment trusts .
Charlie, Mike Salmon CFP®, and Derrick Chandler CFP® participated in the Orlando Sentinel’s “Ask an Expert Hotline” on the first weekend in October. The event was a joint production of the Sentinel and the Central Florida Chapter of the Financial Planning Association(FPA) as part of Financial Planning Week.
The firm was kept busy recently as the FPA held its national conference Oct 18-20 in Orlando. Partners Ron Tamayo, CFP®, Charlie Fitzgerald, and Dan Moisand,CFP® hosted five different international delegations in the days prior to and just after the conference. Visitors from the Netherlands, Brazil, Japan, India, Malaysia, Columbia, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada were received at the firm’s Maitland office. In addition, Charlie hosted a meeting of all the FPA chapters in Florida while Dan was a speaker for two sessions at the conference. The FPA also announced Dan will lead a commission to assess and improve the quality of continuing education in the US.
